Certified Nurse Aide (CNA): 130 hrs
This program is intended for the student who seeks an entry-level position as a nurse’s assistant or a hospital attendant. Each class consists of a maximum of 15 students. The students attend both classes and practice classes in the school lab. The lab is equipped with hospital beds, practice dolls, wheelchair, walker, crutches, and personal care supplies. The classroom is equipped with audiovisual equipment, tables, chairs, and a chalkboard
Internship
All students are required to successfully complete a minimum of 30 hours of clinical supervision in a nursing home. The student will be required to demonstrate the performance of basic skills prior to being scheduled for clinical supervision, to the satisfaction of the instructor.
